Software engineer and writer
Matthew Prahl
I am a principal software engineer at Red Hat and an open-source maintainer working on the infrastructure behind modern machine learning and AI. My professional work centers on enterprise MLOps, including MLflow and Kubeflow Pipelines, and on building scalable systems and healthy engineering cultures.
The writing here ranges beyond my day job. I am interested in theology, early Christianity, process thought, and technology, especially where they meet questions of human dignity, moral responsibility, and what it means to live fully and responsibly with one another. Matthew’s Musings is a place for following those questions wherever they lead.
I am drawn to ideas that do more than explain the world. At their best, they deepen our moral imagination and call us toward compassion, accountability, and justice in how we live with one another.
